Delete Your Account

1. How to Request Deletion

Option A — In the app

Open the Mamash app, go to Account → Delete account, and confirm. This is the fastest route if you still have the app installed.

Option B — By email

Use this if you have already uninstalled the app, or if you use the Mamash Rider app. Email admin@mamashmarket.com with the subject “Account deletion request”, sent from the email address registered to your account. Please include the phone number registered to the account so we can confirm the request is yours.

We will acknowledge your request within [X] days and complete the deletion within [Y] days. We may contact you to verify your identity before we proceed. We will never ask you for your password.

2. What We Delete

When your request is completed, we permanently remove:

• Your account and login credentials
• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your date of birth and gender
• All saved delivery addresses, including their location coordinates

3. What We Keep, and For How Long

Some records are retained after deletion because we need them for accounting and to resolve disputes about past orders. These are deleted automatically once the periods below have passed.

• Order records — including the delivery name, phone number and address recorded on each order — are kept for 365 days, then permanently deleted.
• Proof-of-delivery photographs are kept for 30 days.
• Rider location data is deleted automatically after 24 hours and is never retained long term.

4. Rider Accounts

Mamash Rider accounts are created and managed by MamashMarket administrators, so there is no in-app deletion option. To request deletion of a rider account, email admin@mamashmarket.com or speak to your MamashMarket supervisor.

This page cannot delete an account by itself — it only explains how to make a request. Every request is verified before any data is removed.
